We are so excited to follow the call of God and build the church in Santa Barbara. We’re increasingly aware of how blessed we are to come from families who have spent their lives building the local church. It’s an honor to stand on their shoulders and continue the legacy.
For the past fourteen years, we’ve served as full-time youth pastors. We moved to Vacaville, California in 2016, and over the past nine years, our hearts have been deeply shaped by our love for the local church. The Father’s House has been a truly special place. We have watched hundreds of young people be transformed each week and have seen thousands encounter the reality of Jesus at our youth conferences.
Two years ago, God began stirring our hearts with the vision to plant a church. Not long after, He made it clear that Santa Barbara was the city He was calling us to. We’ve been incredibly blessed to navigate this season with pastors who believe in us and who are sending us out with their full support. We’re deeply grateful for every season we’ve walked through — the stretching valleys and the miracle-filled mountaintops. It has truly been the joy of our lives to pour into the next generation. We’re only just beginning the story God is writing in our lives, but we trust Him fully with this beautiful next chapter.
Our hearts are full of vision, hope, and expectation for all that He will do in Santa Barbara.

A CHURCH YOU CAN TRUST
OVERSIGHT
Although we are a new church, we want to be a church you can trust. Church is important to God so it’s important to us. We are blessed to have an amazing board of overseers to help guide, protect, and create accountability as we are in these early days of our church. Our goal is to add local elders as we get more established. We will do this slowly, intentionally, and prayerfully.

STEWARDSHIP
We are also a church that believes in generosity and we want to steward well the finances that God has entrusted us with. So we have invested early on in using a third party outside accounting firm called Parable so that there can be accountability on where every dollar is spent at The Father’s House.
COVERING
We are a part of the TFH Church Network. A network of 80 churches relationally connected under the covering of Pastor Dave Patterson and TFH Vacaville.
