The Church first and foremost exists to worship Jesus. He is our main focus and our main goal, and everything we do is for his glory. Our heart is to stay at the feet of Jesus. We don't want to go unless His presence goes with us.

We were created for community. We were created to live in family. We see a church community made up of all types of people from all walks of life, unified under the cross of Jesus.

WE'RE COMMITTED TO CREATING A SAFE SPACE WHERE OUR KIDS CAN EXPERIENCE THE PRESENCE OF GOD, DISCOVER THEIR IDENTITY IN JESUS, GROW IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM, AND MAKE FRIENDS.
Santa Barbara is a unique and strategic city just 95 miles north of Los Angeles, nestled on the Pacific Coast, with a population of over 140,000 and more than 40,000 college students arriving annually. It's a small town with global influence. Leaders in business, arts, education, and government live here, yet it still feels like a close-knit community.
But behind the beauty lies real brokenness.
A 2016 Barna study ranked Santa Barbara second in the nation for people who have never been to church. Nearly half the population is unchurched. And while the city is known for its wealth, Santa Barbara County ranks among the top three in California for poverty when adjusted for cost of living. We believe this is a perfect place for a life-giving church that takes responsibility for the needs of its community. I believe the affluent and influential who live in Santa Barbara to hide away are going to find healing in our church. I believe the over 40,000 students who come to Santa Barbara to get a degree are going to discover their God given purpose in our church. I believe that in a city like Santa Barbara, not only will our church bring life, hope, and beauty to the community, but we will also have an impact in every sector of society across the world.
