From Jude and Ciara
We met in Ventura in 2011, got married in 2014, and have been doing ministry together ever since.
We are local church people, both pastors kids, raised in healthy, life giving churches. Our parents have pioneered local churches for the last 40 plus years. This is what we know and love.
In 2016 we made the decision to move our family to Vacaville Ca and become Youth pastors for Ciara's parents at The Father's House. We have had the time of our lives building a amazing youth ministry and seeing young people transformed by Jesus week after week.
One thing we know to be true, the Church is the hope of the world. We are committed to building a House for his presence.
We are grateful for what we have seen God do so far, but we are filled with even greater vision for what He will do through The Father's House Santa Barbara.

Why Santa Barbara?
Despite being one of the most beautiful cities in the nation, and the home of some of America's most influential and wealthy people, Santa Barbara is among the USA's least churched communities.
A 2016 Barna study found the Santa Barbara area to be second in the nation in percentage of the population that is "never-churched" (16%), meaning they've never regularly attended church in their life.
Santa Barbara is also ranked in the top 25 of "churchless" cities, with 44% of the population not having a church to call home.

There is a population of over 140,000 in the greater Santa Barbara area, and an influx of over 40,000 college students arrive to this area every year.
We believe there is a great need for a life-giving, spirit-filled, Bible teaching church to meet the spiritual and physical needs of this city.
The Church We See
We exist to build a church where God's presence dwells, and people far from God can find life in Christ.
